100 Manga Theme Challenge #2: Love.

NekoxFrosty fanpic. ^^ They're from "Neighborhood Kids", a lovely story written by ~frostychan12 that can be read right here: [link] . I insist you read it.

Anyway. Took a hellof a long time to do. It was so fun complainiing about bits of this to her and her not knowing what I was doing. (eg, "This coloring is taking forever!" or "His hair looks all wrong.")

Anyway.

I totally screwed over Neko's hair. Twas a stab-in-the-dark, since I didn't have a ref when I did the lineart. ^^ Frosty was a stab-in-the-dark, too; but I've seen more pics of her, so I figured it looked alright. xD

I'll stop ranting now.

I, like, totally overshaded it, though.. ._.

And.. They're not the usual eyes that I use, I used the ones that Frosty uses.

And I used openCanvas 1.1, since it's the only program other than Paint that I have.

Well, just picture a light bulb in a corner of your picture. You kind have to picture how the light hits the person/object/whatever and where it doesn't. I dunno if that helps. xD I still think you did the shading really good though

Oohh. They're nice though.

Oh whatever, if you learn to get really good with the harder-to-use programs, then if you get a better program that's easier, then you can do super! By the way, you use a mouse, right?
